Africa3 - a venture capital fund that seeks to ignite the power of frontier technology in Africa and catalyze the creation of a new future for the continent, with a specific focus on Web3. We are made of of a DAO and separately a traditional Fund, allowing us to maintain legal structure and compliance while also collaborating with DAO members for deal flow, due diligence, and portfolio company support.
<aside> 💡 Note: While we are still considering the specifics, we are thinking about offering a percentage of token allocation on issue, an introducer fee for anyone who can successfully intro us to an LP, and a carry %. Subject to the performance and contribution of the individual, we may consider offering a salaried role post-close and/or a percentage of NFT sales. Please note that closing a fund can take 6-9 months (and potentially longer given the current market and the amount of work we have on our plate), so all candidates should be prepared for a long-term commitment.
